Glauco and Matthew, brothers related but different people twenty years in 1966. Still uncertain about the road to take in life, have decided to spend the summer holidays together, traveling in two mutual friends to the North Cape. Matthew, however, know a patient of a psychiatric clinic, Rey, and when he realizes that the doctors will undergo electroshock decides to 'kidnap'. Along with Glauco, the three set out to find the boy's family. The journey, intense and turbulent, will deeply mark the lives of both: Glauco decided to become a psychiatrist but it takes a sabbatical in Norway, Matthew instead leaves the university and enlisted in the Police. Between meetings unexpected and new separations, Glaucus and Matthew through three decades of observing and living in Italy for two different points of view, often the opposite.
